     All the threads and missing pieces begin to come together in this book. The characters continue to develop, and other characters are introduced and flawlessly woven into the story. I personally liked the fresh perspective and new style of the third book, how it began with just two characters and the rest came in as the story went on.

I really loved the way that it moved between realistic fiction and fantasy. At times I forgot and almost couldn't tell. The change in perspective also helped and made it engaging. Letting the reader have parts of the story that the characters don't have is one of my favorite things that authors can do.

It's like going back through the series and seeing what happens behind the scenes, what happened when you as a reader were not ready to see what the book shows you. If you have never read it but have read the Harry Potter series I would definitely recommend it.

Author: Jennifer A. Nielsen Rating: 8.7/10      I liked this book because it was a fantasy book that was different from the ones I usually read. A certain amount of information was kept from the reader, but it was done in a way that made me want to keep turning pages and finding out what would happen next. I love a good fantasy book that has mystery elements, so this book worked really well for me. If you don't enjoy not knowing things, this book will likely not be for you.
