     I like Scott Westerfeld's style of ending these books with a cliffhanger, and then skipping a bit of time between the books. If you appreciated the style of the Hunger Games trilogy, you might not like the way Westerfeld writes it here. When beginning a book, it leaves you a little confused for awhile, since you know the general style but don't know what has happened in between. I found it quite interesting to pay attention to the subtle changes in relationships and characters between stories.

I really loved the way that it moved between realistic fiction and fantasy. At times I forgot and almost couldn't tell. The change in perspective also helped and made it engaging. Letting the reader have parts of the story that the characters don't have is one of my favorite things that authors can do.

Author: Lorrie Kim                      Rating: 9.5/10          This book was truly amazing and eye-opening. It is incredible that the entire story depended on this character. It's like going back through the series and seeing what happens behind the scenes, what happened when you as a reader were not ready to see what the book shows you. If you have never read it but have read the Harry Potter series I would definitely recommend it.

Author: Jennifer A. Nielsen Rating: 8.7/10      I liked this book because it was a fantasy book that was different from the ones I usually read. A certain amount of information was kept from the reader, but it was done in a way that made me want to keep turning pages and finding out what would happen next. I love a good fantasy book that has mystery elements, so this book worked really well for me. If you don't enjoy not knowing things, this book will likely not be for you.
